The purpose of the Great Plains Assessment Center is to provide evaluation services to students, clients, and programs of the school to assist in making informed decisions related to program enrollment and/or employment. The Great Plains Assessment Center administers the SAGE (System for Assessment and Group Evaluation) and TABE (Test of Adult Basic Education). The SAGE measures Interests, Strengths, Aptitudes and Cognitive Abilities. The TABE measures Cognitive Abilities. Referrals for assessment will be accepted from Great Plains Technology Center counselors, the adult education secretary, health occupations program directors, the special needs coordinator, and the campus director or his/her designee. Business clients of the school will coordinate assessment services through a representative of the Economic Development Center.
