Description:
This program is designed to prepare students for entry-level trainee positions in the construction field and to provide those employed in the construction field with opportunities for upgrading and updating their skills. Students will be expected to complete the 10 modules to be considered an occupational completer.

| FCT101 | Introduction to Construction Trades: This course introduces students to the basic skills needed to enter the construction and the safety aspect of tools and equipment used in today's workforce. | |
| FCT102 | Concrete: This course provides instruction and work based application in the basic skills of site preparation, forming, reinforcement, pouring, and finishing concrete projects. | |
| FCT103 | Framing: This course provides instruction and work based application in the basic framing techniques for residential construction. | |
| FCT104 | Drywall: This course provides instruction and work based application in the skills needed to install tape, bed, and texture drywall. | |
| FCT105 | Shingles: This course provides instruction and work based application on installation of felt paper and shingles. | |
| FCT106 | Doors: This course provides instruction and work based application of skills on hanging interior and exterior doors. | |
| FCT107 | Windows: This course provides instruction and work based application of skills on installing windows. | |
| FCT108 | Trim: This course provides instruction and work based application of skills on installation of interior trim. | |
| FCT109 | Cabinets: This course provides instruction and work based application of skills on the construction of cabinets. | |
| FCT110 | Formica: This course provides instruction and work based application of skills on the installation of formica. | |
